Wanted Poster Reveals 'Pete' As Honorable

"Mr. Dillon, Mr. Dillon!"

"Calm down Chester. What seems to be the trouble?"

"Mr. Dillon, there's this dangerous lookin' girl that jest rode inta' Dodge and-"

"What does she look like?"

"Well, she's got long blonde hair, and blue eyes-about 5 feet 4 inches, I reckon."

"Let's see what we can find out about her from my files. Ah-her she is -name's Peterson, Carol Peterson, alias "Pete," alias "Novio." She comes from over Des Plaines way - makes her headquarters at Maine West."

"Sez here she's the treasurer of the Senior class, secretary of Quill and Scroll, a Girls' club representative, a senior leader, an off-council representative, and been in the Variety show for two years." "She gets into a little bit of everything, doesn't she, Mr. Dillon?"
"Wait, there's more. She's a member of the National Honor Society, and the Editor Emeritus of the Legend."

"The Legend? What in Sam hill is that?"

"Oh that's the yearbook of all them old wanted posters."

"She's known best for organizing cheering sections at the games for a certain fella and for slumber parties. She was almost caught once around Lake Geneva. But I've heard tell that she's promised to go straight. She even plans to move her headquarters to Northern so she can become a school marm."

"Well, now, Chester, I don't think we need to worry about her."

"But Mr. Dillon - you gotta' get her outa' Dodge! She's tryin' ta' upstage me by putting on that limping act!"
