12 Elginites Tour Campus
"Gosh, it's so big," was one of the many comments heard from the 12 Elgin high school students who visited Maine West on Tuesday, March 14.

The Elgin council students who took part in the Exchange Day are Neill Schurter, president; Lance Hansen, vice-president; Judy McKeown, secretary; Bob Clark, treasurer; and Audrey Maclntyre, Elgin's foreign exchange student from New Zealand. Sally Misehe, Judy Paesler,		 Carol Powell, Jim Prigge, Karen Sokody, John Tobler, and Rog Wagner, who are all Student Council representatives, also attended. The group was accompanied by Mr. Ohl, their sponsor.

The 12 Elginites were present at a Student Council meeting and attended classes with guides from our Student Council. After school the group went swimming and watched part of the Variety show rehearsal. They then went to senior Carri Perez's home for dinner.
