Question: What do you think about high school students having to register to vote in the council elections?

Sally Netherland '63- "I think that it is a good idea because it prepares the student for the presidential elections that he or she will vote in not too long from now."

Dave MacDonald '62- "I feel that it will tend to eliminate students who vote merely for reasons of popularity. If they have to register they will care more for whom they vote."
 Sandi Bond '62- "I feel that registered voting at Maine West is not a good idea because of the number of students who do not wish to give up their lunch hour to stand in line to cast their ballot."

Tom Klemczak, Esquire '63 -"I like it very much. The vote will mean more if they have to register."
