Cub Staff Members Put Out 'Lucky' Thirteenth Issue |
||||||||||
| "Making up pages, writing stories, copyreading, and typing are just a few of the things Maine West's journalism class undertook to compile this 'cub' issue of the Westerner," recently remarked Judy Kassnel, cub editor. English III J, taught by Mr. Gerald Royer, meets during the seventh period once a day to study the regular English III curriculum and learn the essential techniques of journalistic writing needed to train students to be efficient members of the Westerner staff during their senior year. |
Supervising the production of this issue were Judy Kassnel, editor-in-chief; Sandi Bond and Dave MacDonald, managing editors; Marilyn Alfini, Larry Lashway, Karen Patterson, Sandy Peterson, and Bill Sopper, page editors; and Mary Ann Conti, Nancy Dwyer, Pam Meyer, assistant page editors. Bill Downing and Walt Dibbern, sports writers; Jean Glass, Sue Pyron, and Scott Ross, headlines; Lolly Graham, Marilyn Manny, Bev Pawelko, and Vicki Webster, copyreaders; Tom Kuersten and Linda Sobb, distribution; and Adrienne Du Pree and Carol Eustice, exchange; all put in a great deal of time on this issue. |
