Pegasus Club Performs In 2nd Annual Horse Show
Winners in advanced pairs were 1st - Janice and Joyce Witt '61; 2nd-Jean Hansen '63, and Pam Sundblad '61; 3rd -Linda Schoeman '63, and Georgia Berndt '63; and 4th Carol Barett '63, and Judie Bogacz '63. Intermediate equitation awards were given to 1st-Karen Johnson '64, 2nd-Ruth Salzman '64; 3rd-Sue Wisch weh '64; 4th-Vicki Lyson '64; 5th-Linda Gyssler '64; and 6th-Sharon Dean '64.
Advanced games awards were presented to 1st - Gayle Bauman '62; 2nd-Kathy Glade '62; 3rd -John Frana '63; 4th - Carol Barrett '63; 5th - Pam Sunblad '61; and 6th - Judie Bogacz '63. Intermediate pairs awards went to 1st - Judy Larson '64 and Joyce Witt; 2nd Linda Gyssler and Sue Wischweh; 3rd-Sharon Dean and Connie Hintz '64; and 4th Karen Johnson and Vicki Lyson.
The faculty exhibition provided some light entertainment as the teachers tried their skill in horseback riding. The class had to weave in and out of four barrels in a contest for best time. First place was won by Miss S. Kantoff, practice teacher; 2nd-Mr. G. Royer, journalism; 3rd-Mr. E. Atkinson, math; 4th-Mr. R. Caprio, English; 5th-Miss B. Bovenmyer; and 6th-Miss M. Engen, physical education.
For the final event, costume class, the riders were judged on originality. Capturing first place was Kathy Glade; 2nd-John Frana; 3rd-Linda Gyssler and Sue Wischweh; 4th Connie Hintz; 5th-Karen Johnson; and 6th - Judy Larson.
