Registration Begins Soon
Registration will be held in the personnel office from now until June 12. A minimum of one-half the tuition must be paid at the time of registration, and tuition must be paid in full before a student will be admitted to class.
There is a variety of courses from which to choose. The following courses will be offered at Maine East only: U. S. History on wheels, auto body shop, speech, drama, German I and II, French I and II, and Spanish II. Students wishing to take one of these course must register at the Maine East summer school office.
The general registration fee is $5. This fee is not refundable and will be credited on the tuition of one course costing $10 or more. Those students taking only driver training will pay $1 for registration; tuition cost $20.
Classes for the first term begin June 12 and terminate July 7. The second term begins July 10 and continues until August 4.
The daily schedule is as follows: first period: 8 a.m.-9:25, second period: 9:30-10:55, and third period: 11 a.m-12:30.
Regular attendance is very important since one day of summer school equals approximately one week of the regular school year. Students will not be excused for vacations,, and students .absent for an unauthorized reason will be dropped from the course with no refund of tuition.
