Spring Brings Prom Activities
'62 Anticipate Coming Prom

Paradise itself can be expected by all who attend "Elysium in Emerald," the Junior Prom of the class of '62 tomorrow night from 8:30 to 12 p.m.

Decorations, headed by Joyce McGarvey, display lights and colors and are built around the theme of paradise in green selected by Gail Schellin's theme committee.

Al Peters and his "Talk of the Town Band," provided for by George Thorne, will produce exotic and exciting music for the delight of the dancers who will also receive bids beautifully created by Mary Anna Mat-teson and her committee, and refreshments competently supervised by Pete Costello.

Vicki Webster and Al Koch, co-chairman of the publicity committee, have worked to insure that many will enjoy the Prom.
Vicki excitedly remarked, "Nothing could have made me happier than the spirit the kids showed in making Green Day a success. With enthusiasm like this, our Prom is sure to be one that no one would want to miss."

Under the watchful eye of Char Gertz, general chairman, invitations were sent to all juniors by Liz Blonston, chairman.

Everyone attending the Prom is now making last minute checks on arrangements in anticipation of this long awaited evening which promises to be the most wonderful ever for the Class of '62. According to Bruce Johns, class president.

Joyce reports to all students, "Tonight after school and all day tomorrow we will be putting up decorations for the Prom. It is very important that we have lots of help if we are to get everything done on time. Please come and work on your Prom!"
