Clubs End Year with Banquets

Various awards will be given out at the annual GAA Motherdaughter Dessert. The Dessert, which will be held on Thursday, May 25, will feature the installment of new intramural and executive members, and the newly elected officers for next year. The highest award for participation will go to Barb Manny, while Lynn Ruark, Kathy Glade, Lora Eckert, Mary Spoo, and Karen Barrett will receive the second highest awards. Service awards will go to a girl in each class who has done the most for GAA this past year. Tickets will go on sale in the cafeteria on Monday, May 22 for 75 cents per couple.

White Collar Girls

White Collar Girls Club will present their annual Mother, Daughter Banquet May 24, in the Student lounge. Following the dinner, which will be served at 6:30 p.m., Diane Disabato will provide the entertainment.
The guest speaker will be Miss Jean Harrison from Patricia Vance Finishing School who will speak on "Good Grooming School and Etiquette or the Business Girl."

The officers for next year are: Kay Gustafson, president; Marilyn Stocking, first vice-president; Millie Calvert, second vice-president; Rose Jensen, secretary; and Doreen Christ, treasurer.

Installation of new officers will be held at the banquet. Tri-S

Maine West's cafeteria will be a scene of suspense and expectation Monday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. when the new officers for Tri-S, the social science club at Maine, will be announced at the annual Tri-S banquet. The officers announced will be the winners of the May 23 election.

All Tri-S members and their friends are invited to the banquet.

"We always have a very good time," commented Mr. Eric Edstrom, sponsor of the club, "so all members are urged to attend."
