| Coach David Henry's Warrior golfers fell Tuesday night to Elgin by only four strokes in a tight meet. Maine West hosted the Elgin Maroons on the Maine home course, the Park Ridge Country club, and fell to the school that grabbed second in District play be a final score of 352-356. | In the District golf play last weekend, Maine West's linksmen shot a 342, just 24 strokes away from the winning total of 318 posted by the Barrington Broncos. East Leyden and Elgin followed in second with 319's, but an Elgin golfer came in as medalist with a 72. | |||||||||
