-MORFIT-

This is dedicated to the ones we love ............

This is (sob, sniffle, slobber, glurg) our very (snif) last Morfit column of 1961. Therefore, as we believe in giving credit where credit is due, we wish to thank ourselves profusely for the great service which we have rendered to the Westerner this year. We also wish, however, to thank several people who have proved valuable by providing inspiration or material.

Mr. Gerald Royer who has served as a worthy model for our social aspirations, and provided us with (uh) sound advice geared to the operation of our column.

Phil Shayne who has repeatedly betrayed his own best friends by ratting on them to us.

Ron March who has provided invaluable material for us by always having his "hand" in some funny business.

Karen David who is willing, on a slow news day, to help us out by creating a disturbance of some kind.

Karen Barrett, Carol Peterson, Ann Kulik, Carrie Perez, and Charlene Thompson whose exposure at Lake Geneva last year uncovered a new source of ma-terial.

Andy Adolfson whose undaunted (and un-wanted) courage as an editor has kept us out of many a law suit. Thank you Adolfson, you straight-laced slob.

Karen Barret again who is "quite easy to please," especially when it comes time for a "formal" dance, we salute her for her obvious aid.

And last, but not least, the remaining Westerner staff members, who are so dad-rotted? obstinate that it's sickening.

So now we leave you - and, believe us, it's been fun. You've been a rotten public, but it's been fun.
