Commencement Completes A Perfect Senior Year |
||||||||||
| For the seniors of Maine West, 1960-61 has gone by entirely too fast. It seems there just was not enough time to accomplish much of anything. Nevertheless, the class of '61 has amassed a string of accomplishments. The senior class play, "Madwoman of Chaillot," uncovered some hidden acting ability in the class, especially the romantic talents of Maine West's own Don Juan, Dave Hopkins. During homecoming, the class of '61 again proved it could be the most talented by winning first place honors the second year in a row for the float "Sweet Smell of Success." |
Other events of the year include the crowning of the homecoming queen, Sandy Zick, the senior class party, and the senior class sponsored after-dance. Topping off a great year was the fabulous senior prom "Knight of Nights." Included with the prom was a cool train ride to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for an after-the-prom blast. Now all that remains is commencement and our memories. |
