Senior Play Cast Chosen

Seniors are now making ready one of the biggest projects of the school year, the Senior class play. The Madwoman of Chaillot, by Jean Giraudoux, a comedy in two acts, to be presented in mid-November, was cast on September 26. Preliminary tryouts were held September 21, 22, and 23 after school and final tryouts were the 23. From 250 tryout applications, a final casting of 34 had to be chosen.

A double casting was necessary in some female roles to enable several more to be in the play. Capturing the leading male roles were: Ray Alajoki, Jim Brennan, Norm Boyer, Mike Callaghan, Richard Day, Dave Hopkins, Gerry Stanowicki, and Dan Wiberg. Those girls in the leading
female roles are: Kathy Clayton, Beverlee Engle, Maryann Hemmer, Rosie Sherry, Lois Jarl, Gail Windmeier, Ethelann Wagner, and Sidney Miller.

Other seniors in supporting roles are Andy Adolfson, Charles Emerling, Anaterese Giardini, Lynn Kania, Karen Klopp, Bob Metzler, Ron Mills, Holly Peterson, Carol Pier, Don Plautz, Sue Purves, Bob Richardson, Jim Scott, Char Thompson, Dick Williams, and Bob Wright.

Director of the play is Mrs. Eleanor Annen, English teacher. Under her as Student Director is Carrie Perez, assistant Student Director and prop head Rita Gardino, and costume heads, Dottie Hutchinson and Melody Pabst.
