Seniors Host Faculty At
Annual Tea

Senior girls are frantically rushing about in final preparation for the Senior-Faculty tea to be held October 11, in the cafeteria. The affair is sponsored annually by the Girls' club of Maine West. This year the club is being led by Sue Frasier, president; Nancy Napier, vice president; Pat DeKreek, secretary; and Jackie Cober, treasurer. Miss Marilyn Seidelmann, English teacher, is the sponsor.

Many girls began asking faculty members to the tea far in advance to be sure of getting their favorite teacher. For anyone who has not yet asked someone, there is still time. Charlene Thompson has requested that any senior girl who does not have a faculty member to invite may
contact her for a name of an available teacher. Faculty members include teachers, office workers, library attendants, nurses, attendance office workers, and anyone on the Maine West staff.

According to Sue Frasier, 61, there will be approximately 400 guests, including students and faculty. There will also be some 50 girls serving, composed of freshmen, sophomore, and junior Girls' Club council members.

"All senior girls are urged to come, but remember, every girl must come with someone from the faculty," remarked Sue. "Also, the cost will be $1 for each girl and her guest,
