| If you happen to see a tall, blond, male student suddenly walk into the midst of a group of people who are whispering, and he commands, "No secrets!" you can be sure that it is the vice-president of our Student Council, Dan Wiberg. Some of his pet peeves other than people who tell secrets are noisy cars, fellows with extremely long hair, unreliable people, and prying reporters. Dan revealed that he is not bored with life, simply because he doesn't have time to be. Besides being vice-president of Student Council, he is also a member of the Maine West Historical society and an officer of his church youth group. Studying, golf, and meteorology also take up quite a bit of his time. |
Considering this busy senior's many fields of activities, one begins to wonder what sort of diet keeps him physically fit. "Just give me a cheese and bacon pizza, steak, and a banana split," informs Dan, .."and I'll be happy." When questioned about t h e honors he has received, D a n replied, "I am not a very honorable person, but I do consider being a representative of Maine West at Boys' State and being chosen as a junior official of Des Plaines, two of the highest honors I could receive." Dan plans to attend college and major in law or political science. |
