Scholarship For Winner |

| Tenth, eleventh, and twelfth year students are eligible to enter a $1,500 scholarship competition by writing an original script on "I Speak for Democracy," according to Mrs. Bernice Schneider, Social Science teacher. All who plan on entering should report to Room C-208, next Tuesday, at 3:20 to register. |
The Voice of Democracy is a nationwide contest for high school students sponsored by the National Association of Broadcasters in cooperation with the VFW. The top winner will receive a $1,500 scholarship to the college of his choice. A gold recording of the original scripts will be awarded to the four national finalists. The top winner in each state will be brought to Washington for an educational visit, with all expenses paid. A certificate of merit will be awarded to the winner in each school, community, county and statewide contest. | |||||||||
