GAA Sponsors Mom-Daughter Playnight
GAA will hold its Mother Daughter playnight. Volleyball, trampoline, and table tennis will be played by the mothers and girls. There will be refreshments and a floor show to complete the evening.
Intramural board and Executive board, the two groups of girls that run GAA, have selected six freshman girls as new board members. They are Leslie Pease and Jan Virostko on Intramural board, and Sue Colia, Leah Foicell, Judy Nixon, and Nancy Loebach on Executive board .
GAA this year, is a tennis team that competes against other schools. So far the team has only been practicing but future plans are to play Glenview and Oak Park, among other schools. Members of the team are Marilyn Davis, Jean Fischer, Pat Herrmann, Kris Hatfield, Jolynn Falsey, Sue Burdette, Marcy Reid, Barb Manny, Pat Jordan, Betty Deske, and Holly Peterson.
Before school on Wednesday, October 12, an enthusiastic group of GAA campers cooked breakfast for the women’s physical education department. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, and French-toast were cooked on tin cans with homemade candles used as fuel. The girls had a lot of fun in spite of the smoke and burnt food .

will be host to a GAA playnight November 5. The girls will participate in swimming, basketball, and fieldhockey.
