Maine West Selected For Survey

Maine Township High School West recently received the distinction of being selected as having one of the most outstanding high school buildings in the nation. As a result, the school is eligible to take part in a nationwide survey conducted by Michigan State university which will be made on November 16 and 17. The survey will be conducted in 30 of the 300 schools with the best buildings in the United States. The purpose of the survey is to determine the extent to which the buildings affect the people who use them. To obtain this information, a self-explanatory paper and pencil inventory will be administered to each student and staff member on November 16 during the second and third periods. The results of the testing program will later be returned to Maine West for study and future use. The summaries of the findings from the 30 schools will also be published and distributed to school districts throughout the country.
