The ICEC is an organization whose main function is to improve educational opportunities for exceptional children and coordinate activities for the improvement of special education.

Approximately 100 high school juniors and seniors who are interested in becoming teachers were invited to attend this student conference. Three delegates

The student conference delegates were given their choice of one of three tours: Alexander Graham Bell school for the deaf, blind, and multiple handicapped; Luther Burbank school for the physically handicapped; or the Benjamin Franklin school for the educable and trainable mentally handicapped.
