Stagecrafters Club Builds Chaillot Sets

"Ouch!" Bang! Clamor! "Put down that hammer!" Hey, watch out with that paint!!"

These are just a few of the strange sounds that may be heard in the vicinity of the stage in the near future. The noise will be made by the Stagecrafters club as they work to finish the sets for the Senior play, "The Madwoman of Chaillot," which is to be presented November 18 and 19. Stagecrafters is as important to the play as the actors, for it is in charge of make-up, props, lighting, and the building and
painting of sets. Crew heads who will be doing the most worrying about the sets are Chuck Parker, building; Dianne Lyon, make-up; Gary Riess, lighting; Diana Raphael, painting; and Nan Thornton, props. Building of the sets has begun, and other crews began' their work this week.

Officers of Stagecrafters, who will see the club through the senior class play and other events, are John Schafer, '63, president; Char Thompson, '61, secretary; and Maryann Hemmer, '61, treasurer.
