Warrior of the West
Number 77 is quite well known around Maine West as football star, Keith Connolly. Keith lettered at Maine (East) last year in football and is the Warrior's half-back this year.

He has earned his numerals both in football and basketball and will be the only returning letterman in basketball this year. He was on last year's undefeated WSC Football Championship Team and was the highest scorer. He feels that his best games played were against Riverside - Brookfield when he scored a touchdown in the last quarter, and against Glenbrook when he scored three touchdowns.
 As for this year, Keith said, "Our best game played was against Prospect, where we had the best team effort." Keith mentioned that his most exciting experience was, "When I made a 92 yard kick-off return. That was something I've always wanted to do."

A great disappointment for this six foot two inch, 195 pound Warrior was when the team lost the Proviso West game. "We shouldn't have lost it, because we are a better team," remarked Keith.

Plans for the future will be to attend a college, not yet selected, where Keith hopes to continue his football career.
