26 Juniors Win Certificates For '60 NEDT Tests
Mr. Herman L. Rider, Superintendent, announced that 26 Maine West juniors have been awarded certificates for making 93 per cent or higher on the National Education (NEDT) Development test which many Maine West students took last March.

This test is a practice test for the National Merit Scholarship examination to be given March 11. Students have been urged to study hard so that they may win the semi-finalist rating on the Scholarship examination. Mr. Rider has expressed hope that there will be many semifinalists from Maine West.
 The following 26 students were awarded Educational Development Certificates: Gayle Bauman, Bruce Berlet, Liz Blonston, Donna Cadwallader, Betty Coffman, Mary Dormeyer, Lora Eckert, Joe Edman, Jan Edwards, and Char Gertz.

Also James Huard, Gloria Jenkins, Carole Koscal, Scott McDonald, Mary Anna Matteson, Pam Meyer, Joe Mitchell, Bill Morton, Kathy O'Grady, and John Saari.

Also Gary Schlieckert, Don Seagren, Craig Seitz, Sue Wallace, Vicki Webster, and George Wrick.
