Procrastinators Beware of Better Late Than Never !

Too Little, Too Late

"Never do today what can be done tomorrow. There's plenty of time." Does that sound like someone familiar talking? Then we all hear that plaintive cry, "But I have so much to do!"

Problems, problems, problems. The life of a student is a hard one. Chemistry test, democracy project, English theme, trig problems - everything happens on one day! How long ago was that democracy project announced? How long ago should the studying for that big chemistry test have been started? What about that English theme - when was that assigned? If all that work had been started before tonight, all you would have had are those trig problems.

The outcome of waiting until the last minute usually results in searching for an excuse and begging to hand the assignments in a day late. Because of that, the grade is lowered, simply because the responsibility of getting things done on time couldn't be accepted.
In every instance, it is always better to do things when they should be done. It simply leads to tension, worry, and strain when matters are left alone and allowed to pile up.

It isn't good to let such a thing happen in high school and it's even worse AFTER high school. For example, what would happen if our fathers put all of their work off until the last minute? They wouldn't be very congenial people to live with because of their worries, and they wouldn't be able to support their families properly.

That popular saying of today should be changed from "Never do today what can be done tomorrow" to "Never put off 'til tomorrow what should be done today." Remember-NOW spelled backwards is WON.
