Students Aid Librarians

Every period of the day library assistants and attendants, under the supervision of Mr. Harold Todd, donate their time and prove indispensable help to the library. These students do numerous jobs such as alphabetizing college catalogs, shelving books, delivering attendance slips, cataloging short stories and plays, straightening shelves, typing, preparing library materials, checking out books, and many other necessary tasks.

Students from seniors to freshmen take time out from study halls to be assistants. From the class of '61 are Karen Brown, Joanne Goetz, Sandy, Heinisch, Gwen Nehlsen, Chris Nelson, Faith Olson, Jo Ann Pohlman, Bob Ristick, and Donna Rousey. Charlene Gertz, Sandy Gerue,
Donna Graham, Karen Gustafsen, Barb Krause, and Judy Reid are from '62. Connie Andre, Nancy Chytry, Sandy Collins, Diane Hrdlicka, Sharon Hunsaker, Sue Lynn, Jean Mitran, Judy Mueller, Mary Pederson, Barb Radcliffe, and Karen Strom are from '63. From the class of '64 are Cathy Biewer, Frances Bushee, Ruth Casey, Carol Frankell, Diane Funk, Sally Kennedy, Judy Larson, Vicki Lyson, Lynnea Olsen, Fred Peters, Linda Reihm, Wayne Rowe, Carolyn Watkins, Barb Wherley, Susan Wischweh, and Pat Wright.

"These students work very hard without any recognition for their efforts," explained Mr. Todd. "Without them, the Library couldn't exist."
