Gymnasts Look To Good Year
Warrior gymnasts journey to Evanston, December 2, to face a tough crew of Wildkits in their season premier. The Westmen's first conference meet will be at home, December 16, against West Leyden, in "B" wing gym.

Last year's Warrior squad, under the direction of coach Sidney Drain, placed seventh in the state tournament, defeating more than 25 teams throughout Illinois.

Maine West will field 30 boys in each of the 14 dual meets and the state meet. Coach Drain commented at practice a few days ago, "We are much stronger in depth this year since we have twice as many boys out for gymnastics, plus the fact that there are four returning lettermen from last year's squad."
