'Frostasia' Sets Scene For Formal

"Frostasia," this year's name for the annual Christmas formal sponsored by the Boys' club on December 28 will again feature the crowning of a senior queen and a court consisting of a girl elected from each class. The final selection from the nominations will take place in homeroom Monday, December 19. The Homecoming Queen and members of her court are ineligible to reign.

Supplying the music for this dance will be the Jay Kenny orchestra. Mr. Jay Zoern, trombone instructor at Maine West, is the manager of the band. He has guaranteed continuous music without a break from 9 until 12 noon.
Tickets are on sale in the cafeteria and bookstore for $2 per couple. Alumni planning to attend this affair may purchase tickets from Mr. Wayne Rosenquist, Boys' club sponsor.

"Since 'Frostasia' is formal, corsages are in order, and boys should wear dark suits," noted Bob "Slim" Petkus '62 Boys' club president.

Committee chairmen for the dance are Don Plautz '61, publicity; Ed Stremich '61, decorations; and Brian Wakefield '61, refreshments.
