Judge Hears Court Pleas

Music sheets are strewn across the piano. The melodious tune rolls off the ivory keys as the serious-minded lad continues to practice his lesson. Is it Bach? Beethoven? Chopin? "No, it's just 'Chopsticks," replies the pianist.

Tom Mason, musician extraordinaire, is well known for his many talents. Besides being a member of Student Council, he presides as Chief Traffic Court judge. Among his less advertised pastimes Tom confides that he is a 'garbage man.'
He believes that it would be beneficial to the school "if more people would visit Student Council so it would dissolve any misconceptions they might have." Another pet peeve is girls who wear white gym shoes without socks in school. "They make a messy appearance and I don't think looks very good," Tom relates.

When Tom graduates he plans to go to the University of Illinois where he will major in physics. He later plans to go into teaching.
