Warrior of the West |
||||||||||
| Dick Geisler, Warrior of the West for this week, thinks more emphasis should be put on wrestling to draw more spectators, especially students. Dick, a senior, stands 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 156 pounds. He was awarded his numerals for wrestling in his sophomore year, and he earned his letter last year. Grappler Dick confessed that Glenbrook was his toughest match. "Glenbrook, and Niles have been two of the toughest teams the Warriors have faced this year," admitted Dick. |
"Shark," as he is known by his team-mates, believes the varsity matmen have a great coach, "but we would have a much better team if all the guys on the team would work harder." "East Leyden could be a rough future meet," said Dick. "We match them on February 3, which is just before the District meet begins." Swimming and a certain cheerleader are a few of Dick's other interests. He plans to attend college, possibly Northern, where he wants to study dentistry. |
