V-Show Staff Chooses Acts for Annual Show
The theme of this year's V-show is "Cities." "A title for the show has not yet been chosen," remarked Margo Beck, director.
Variety show try-outs were held before and after Christmas vacation. The acts were chosen for their originality, poise, movement, coordination, and adaptability. All acts were selected by the V-show staff which consists of Margo Beck '61, director; Cookie Phillips '61, producer; Kathy Clayton '61, coordinator; Alex Dickison '61, stage manager; John Schafer '63, technical director; Sue Testo '61, choreographer; Mrs. Eleanor Annen, faculty director; Mr. Ralph Caprio, stagecraft teacher; Mr. Robert Urasky, art teacher; and Miss Joyce Buck, faculty producer.
All acts trying out had ideas for background and costuming. Many acts received after-school faculty help.
The boys' and girls' dance choruses have also been chosen. Wil Battles '61, Denny Buttner '61, Mike Callaghan '61, Bob Dye '61, Art Lemke '61, Jack Mercer '61 Ron Mills '61, Bob Richardson '61,
The Girls' Dance chorus consists of Renee Benson '61, Lynn Kania '61, Molly Kelly '61, Anne Kulik '61, Pam Mack '61, Carri Perez '61, Carol Peterson '61, Gail Schellin '62, Char Thompson '61 and Barb White '62.
There are many other duties connected with the V-show and anyone who is interested is invited to help out.
The names of the usherettes were recently announced. Seniors are Darlene Baldwin, Marilyn Binder, Lynn Buffo, Ann Canton, Carol Dillon, Marie Falzone, Sue Frasier, Carol Habelski Jan Haberkamp, Linda Harsch, Sandy Heinisch, Nan Herzog, Lana Jeppe, Judi Jorgenson, Pat Kersl, Jan Kuhrt, Judy Luna, Carol Moe!ler, Katie Morton, Holly Peterson, Lois Rapp, Mary Rehman, Dottie Ruge, Patty Schimka, Ronnie Specht, Ginny Stephens, Carol Tompkins, Regina Wilke, Sandi Wittman. Juniors, Sue Beag, Mary Canar, Frances Ford, Tomi Frasier, Diane Fugate, Olivia Giamalva, Jeannette Glass, Charm aine Ignarski, Judy Kassnel, Carole Koscal, Pam Meyer, Jan Pater and Bev Pawelko.
