Tri-S To Sell Bags of Taffy
All the profits from the salt water taffy sale and afterdance to be sponsored by Tri-S will be put in a scholarship fund for some capable Maine West senior who needs financial help for college.

Large bags of taffy will be sold for 10 cents each day after school February 13-17 by Tri-S members and again at the basketball game and afterdance February 18.

"Taffy Twist" is an appropriate name for the afterdance which will feature Rusty		 Urso '61, as M.C. Tickets for "Taffy Twist" will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch periods February 15-17.

Mr. Eric Edstrom, history teacher and sponsor of Tri-S, expresses hope that everyone at Maine West will lend his support to make the taffy sale and afterdance a big success.

If this project is successful, it may become a tradition at Maine West; then each year a senior would receive help to further his education.
