| Six sophomore students have signed up for the History on Wheels course being offered in summer school from June 12 to August 4. These six students, Luanne Ball, Sue Bornhoeft, James Johansen, Alice Long, Susan Pabich and Marcy Schoentgen, will take a two week tour through many sites of historic interest in the East. |
Two of the many places to be visited during the tour are New York City and Washington, D. C. Since this year marks the 100 anniversary of the Civil War, the class will attend the Bull Run Battlefield Centennial celebration. Many other interesting spots are listed on the itinerary also. One unit of credit is given upon completion of the course; therefore, it satisfies the requirement for United States history in the junior year. |
