The archery team has started out this season with two wins and one loss in their first three meets.

In their first meet the strong Maine West squad overtook Buffalo Grove 22‑8. In their second meet, however, the Warriors fell to Prospect, 7‑4. The Warriors came back in their third meet to destroy Elk Grove, 23‑7. Maine West also competed against Fenton last Tuesday and Glenbrook North yesterday.

Meg Gravesmill, Margie Hahn, Marriane Gibson, Holly Hamilton, Ann Vaccarello, and Donna Pluciennik lead the way for the archery team this year. Archery coach Mr. Harold Connell, commented, "I have great depth to choose from, and I'm looking forward to a very successful season."
