Spring Play Proves Success

This year's spring play, entitled A Company of Wayward Saints was performed in the Maine West auditorium last Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. A Company of Wayward Saints was written in 1966 by George Herman. It was first performed at Minnesota University. The first show was held on Friday at 9 p.m.; however, a dinner was served before the performance, at 7:30 p.m.

The play, which took place in the present, dealt with a company of players (like the Commedia del 'Arte) who improvise a play. Through the improvisation of the play they discover something about their nature and also about universal man's nature.

Mr. Robert Norris, director, said, "The play was a great success because of the hard work and talent of the cast and crew members."
