The annual Industrial Education exhibition or Project Fair was held on April 12, 13, and 14. The Industrial Education exhibits were displayed in DeKalb, Illinois, where they were judged.
Northern Illinois University sponsors the fair, which is open to all high school and junior high students in the northern part of Illinois. With over 2,000 entries in either general metals, machine metals, woods, graphics, drafting, electronics, or crafts many winners were from Maine West. All the students entered in the exhibition were from either Mr. David Grobe's machine shop classes or Mr. Robert Twohill's metal shop classes.
