My Name Is Love

BY KATHY MARKKO

I was born an image,
a single man's thought
Something to be dreamed of,
something to be sought.
Men have laughed with me,
cried with me,
Lived with me,
They've died for me.
I shine in the eyes of a new born child,
I'm soft and gentle,
I'm fearful and wild
I'm seen in the sky,
within the stars above.
I'm there in your heart,
my name ... is Love.
