The year is coming to its end, and it is time to start thinking about the trip back to Finland. I've really enjoyed my time here, and I was very happy with the kindness of the people in Des Plaines.

The school has been a very nice experience to me because of its difference and the great facilities and possibilities it has. I think the attitude toward arts and sports here is very good and a positive one.

I feel that after this year I have two families ‑ the family in Finland and the one here in Des Plaines. I will take a lot of good memories with me about the Kawalskis when I go back. The friends, the people with whom I had a real good time and whom I want to see again, will always stay in my memories. There are no words to say how much those memories mean to me.

I wish you all good luck, and thank you for the good times I have had at Maine West and for all the kindness you have shown.
