Baccalaureate To Come This Sunday

Maine West's twentieth annual Baccalaureate service will be held this Sunday, June 3, at 3 p.m. The service will take place in the Herman L. Rider Memorial Gymnasium.

The graduating class will march into the gym as the Baccalaureate Band, conducted by Mr. Paul Magnusson, plays "March Processional" by Grandman and "Pomp and Chivalry" by Roberts. Ronald Leach, treasurer of the Senior Class, will give the Invocation followed by the secretary of the Senior Class, Jeanne Mascenic, reading the Scripture.

The Baccalaureate Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. Donald Lord, will sing "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Johann Sebastion Bach and John Ness Beck's "Song of Exaltation" for the anthem. The Reverend Ronald Graham of the First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines will deliver the sermon entitled "Parting Reluctantly."
