Predictions Made For Graduating Class

As we leave Maine West many of us are wondering where we will be and what we will be doing 10 years from now. If things continue as they are now, here are some of the things seniors will be doing.

We see Rich Bistany, Steve Kopp, Jim Karabas, Andy Jacks, and the rest of the Swan Lake cast making their debut at Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Kathy Bashem will also be starring in her hit show on Broadway. Also on the performance scene we see Yvonne Pytilk accompanying Mike Bock at Carnegie Hall.

On national T.V. Ellen Tolstad will be the prima ballerina for the American Ballet Co. Reknowned psychiatrist Dr. Nancy Gray will talk about the problems of coping on the Johnny Carson show. Also appearing on the show will be Sally Clayton prominent soothsayer predicting the end of the world.

As we look at the international news we find Dave Ahlman running around the world for the fifteenth time. Andy Peterson will have just been elected as president of Madagasgar. Winning gold medals for swimming in the 1988 Olympics we find Mary Kay Gearhardt and Robb MacNab. On a good will diplomatic trip to France is Doug Strand.

Closer to home Debbie Paska is still fighting with Maine West library over a $.35 fine she didn't owe her senior year at the school Maureen Moeller will be taking over Miss Kenyon's place at

Maine. If we travel down to B-113, we see Laura Ankerholtz still trying to find the effects of thyroxin on tadpoles. If we do our shopping at Dominicks we will find Chris Rossi as the general manager. Over at Holy Family Hospital there will be two chief surgeons, Dr. Tom Klein and Dr. Keith Boeckenhauer. And not far from Holy Family are Bob and Donna Schultz living happily ever after.

As we look at the publishing world, we find many of the '79 graduates everywhere. Jo Maniscalco is the head photographer for Sports Illustrated, Heather McCune will be the Editor‑in-Chief of the Saturday Evening Post, and Laura Paulin will be writing a children's book illustrated by Linda Jung. Kim Reed will be taking the place of Rona Barrett.

On the sports scene we see Jim Schultz slam dunking as the center of the Bulls, Gary Crossland quarterback for the Bears, and Tim Richardson grand slamming in Wrigley Field. Leading the Cal State Marching Band will be none other than Brad Briskey.

Ten years from now we also see Eileen Kramer still chasing busboys; Jamie Minor still swinging at the latest discos along with Fred Meyers; and Bob Niemczyk still unable to make up his mind about anything. Nancy Brock, Joanne Denk, and Kim Kleckner will all be seen on the Chicago Honey Bears squad. Camlila Mencinger will be working on her doctoral thesis.
