Archery

Sharon Vaughn is the outstanding senior on the archery team for the 1978‑79 school year. In the sport for three years, she has for the past two years been on the varsity team.

Sharon had been voted the Most Valuable Archer in both the 1977‑78 and 1978‑79 seasons. She was also second in district and fifth in state contests.

Commenting on Sharon, Coach Wayne Connell said, "Sharon is a very hardworking and dedicated person. She is a person who is willing to help people that need it. Sharon never quits when things aren't going very well."
