Gymnastics

One of Maine West's outstanding senior gymnasts is Kim Kratz. Kim has been on the gymnastics team for four years and a member of the varsity team for three years.

This year Kim was a co‑captain on the team, qualified for sectionals, and was selected as an All‑Conference gymnast. Another outstanding senior gymnast is Colleen Monahan. Colleen has been working the uneven parallel bars and the vault for four years now. Three of those years she competed on the varsity team. After her freshman year on J. V. Colleen was selected as the "most improved" gymnast by her teammates. This year Colleen placed second at the Glenbrook South Invitational, and she qualified for sectionals.
