Softball

The two Most Valuable senior girl softball players for this past season are Debby Meinke and Karen Habetler.

Both Debby and Karen were All Conference players this year. Debby was the only girl who played on the varsity level all four years. She had a .500 batting average, highest on the team. Debby played the entire season in left and center field without committing one error. Karen was the starting pitcher for the team this year. Her E.R.A. was low on the team at 4.48. She also had a batting average of .305.

Ms. Karen Kenyon, softball coach, commented, "The team this year was very young, so the maturity of Debby and Karen was really what kept the team together. We will miss both of them greatly."
