Maureen Moeller has been selected as the outstanding senior of the Maine West girls' track team. She has been a member of the team for four years. Her time for the 220‑yard dash is one of the best in the history of Maine West. As a junior, she was a member of the 880‑yard relay team that set a school record and were district champions, then competed at the state meet. This year the 880‑yard medley relay team was district champions, then competed at the state meet. This year the 880‑yard medley relay team was district champions, and she had the opportunity to compete at state again. Maureen has made All Conference for the past two years.
