Aquiana is the syncronized swim club at Maine West. Clinics were held Sept. 18‑21 and tryouts the 22. Many girls tried out but only 36 made it.

The '78‑'79 Aquiana members who are first year members are Lisa Carter '82, Karin Clausen '82, Vicki Fetting '82, Janine Grossi '82, Donna Halverson '82, Ramona Herscha '82, Sue Kadlec '82, Linda Kennelly '81, Michele McGee '82, Gina Pabst '82, Michelle Pampenella '82, Deb Robbins '82, Shirley Rose '82, Chris Staff '82, Mary Swanson '82, Bonnie Schewerman '82, Kathy Lyons '82, and Kelley Kunkel '82.

Second year members are Bridget Doherty '80, Heidi Eilken '80, Patty Glysing '80, Fran Grossi '80, Deb Kruse '81, Martha Lara '80, Deb Peters '81, Deb Wink '81, Estella Delgado '80, Lisa Kirkpatrick '80, and Jan Locke '81.

Third year members are Donna Hill '80, Linda Reppert '80, Mary Morgan '80, and Beth Papucci '80. And the four year member is Sue Rieck '79.

This year's officers are president Eileen Kramer '79, who has been a member for three years; vice‑president Lynn Paulsen '79, a four year member; and junior Sue Corsten is the secretary-treasurer who has been a member for three years. The faculty sponsor is Mrs. Peggy Mitchell.
