WMTH Radio Provides News,
Sports, Music

The radio voice of Maine Township, WMTH‑88.5 FM, returns for another exciting and informative broadcast season. WMTH is an educational operation, with daily programming being divided equally between each of the four Maine Township schools.

There is a variety of programs on WMTH, including on‑the‑hour newscasts, with all the news, sports, and weather, and "Current Comment," a half-hour talk show discussing the latest issues concerning the public of Maine Township.

It also offers a wide range of music shows from "Great Composers, Great Music," to "Soft and Easy," the "88 Survey," and to conclude the afternoon "Sounds from the Underground."

WMTH also broadcasts football, basketball, and baseball games with all the play-by-play action preceded by hours of pregame music.

Executive board members for the 1978‑79 season are Denise Dorion '79, program director; Mark Halverson '80, news director; James Beedy '80, chief engineer; Bob Nostwick '80, assistant engineer; John Nebl '80, production manager; and Kathy Bashem '79, traffic manager, and music and tape librarian.

Staff members include Brian Schooley '80, Fran Eck '81, Marge Borris '81, Art Murray '81, Dan McCluskey '81, Jerry Kleiner '81, Eileen Terry '80, Jim Mix '79, and Bob Schumm '80.
