|
On Saturday, Nov. 18, the Maine West Pom Pon Squad traveled to Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields for the annual Badgerette competition. The clinic was attended by 18 schools from the Chicago area. |
In the prop routine to "Heaven on the Seventh Floor" the girls took fourth place. It was choreographed by Jamie Minor. Kick‑line was next, and again Maine West took fourth place with a routine to "Livin' in the Life" by the Isley Brothers. The final division of competition was the original routine. The squad received a fifth place trophy for their routine to "Turn the Beat Around." The kick‑line and original routine were choreographed by Donna Schultz, captain, and Nancy Brock, co‑captain. |
