Remember two Saturdays ago, when you looked out your window and you couldn't see out because it was covered with snow? Were you one of the lucky people who had room at the end of your driveway for the snow you had to shovel? Did you have to shovel the sidewalks again on Sunday morning? Well, I don't know about you, but ever since this last storm hit, I have had the worst possible luck. My car was snowed in, and there was no place to put the snow at the end of my driveway.
I have had to shovel the snow about 48 times since the blizzard. When you take your dog out for a walk, do you have to lift him up on the lawn? And how about when you shovel? Do you have to use a step ladder to throw the snow up onto your lawn? Do you have to sniff for gasoline to find your car? Did you have to shovel your sidewalks a forty-ninth time, because the snow you shoveled off

of your roof, fell on the sidewalks that you just shoveled? Or, did your neighbor use his fancy snowblower and blow the snow on your driveway?
And what about the people who overreact to the problem? I mean the people who drive four miles per hour on the clear streets and the people who hoard the food at the supermarkets. Did you go shopping to find some "rations" and find that there was no bread or milk because the lady in front of you at the checkout counter had two shopping carts full? I hope that she has to eat bread pudding until October.
Well, if some of these same things happened to you, you've probably got the same bad luck I have had. Now, the weather forecasters are saying that we are due for several more inches of snow. Where are you going to put it? I don't know either. I just keep asking myself, "Is it safe to come out?"
