DECA Hosts Jam

For the past few weeks, DECA Blue members have been very busy putting together a concert for the benefit of the Maine West students. The theme of the presentation is "Winter Jam," featuring four Maine West student rock and roll bands.

The concert originally set for Jan. 26 had been cancelled due to bad weather, but rescheduled for Friday, Mar. 9, 7‑11 p.m. in the Herman L. Rider Spectator Gym. Students from other schools may attend only if accompanied by a Maine West student with a valid ID card.

Star‑Trooper will be leading off the show, followed by Road Eyes, Analogue, and Goldwind. The lighting and sound crews are headed by Jeff Jorgenson '79 and Tom Fisher '79, respectively.

Members of the bands include ‑ StarTrooper: Tim Howard '81, Kerry Karpiel '81, Don Lundquist '80, and Jim Raduns '80; Road Eyes: Mike Riccardi '80, John Praxmarer '79, Lori Nissen '81, and John Teevans '80; Analogue: Mace Mlodoch '80, John Eilers '80, Wille Reyna '81, and Randy Chiakas '79; Goldwind: Jim Riddle '79, Brett Wertepny '79, Tim Schachte '79, Jim Marquette '79,and Tim Dadabo '79.

Tickets are on sale in the bookstore or from any DECA Blue member. Tickets will also go on sale in the cafeteria on Monday, Mar. 5 during the lunch periods.
