The spring thaw will be coming soon; and when it does, all the major league baseball teams will start spring training down in Florida and Arizona. The major league ballplayers will be loosening up and starting to get in shape for the long season ahead.

This is the time when various rookies and different teams will try and make the club and possibly earn a starting job with the club.

This is also the time that reminds many people of summer with the crack of the bats, the calisthenics going on, and lots of people flying down to Florida and Arizona to see their favorite teams warming up in spring camp. Spring training also lets the fans listen over the radio to their hometown baseball team in an exhibition game.
