Spring Vacation: What To Do |
BY MIKE ZIENTARA |
The people who will remain in Des Plaines will get a chance to help Mom start spring cleaning. Dad will surely need help putting the shovels and sleds away for the summer or painting the rooms or cleaning the garage. Those who go on trips won't get any of this pleasure and will probably just sit around in the blazing sun or go swimming or go touring through the important parts of town, like Disney World. The won't be able to enjoy Mom's home cooking every day of spring break. Instead, they'll probably get all dressed up and go to some expensive restaurant and eat all kinds of expensive food and will have to practice their good manners at the table. |
