The Maine West outdoor track season is now underway. Gary Crossland, Randy Burke, Kevin Clifford, Kevin Martin, and Mark Voss are five runners that will be competing in the 100‑yard run, 220‑yard run, 440‑yard run, and 880‑yard relay.

Distance runners, those who run the 880-yard run, one-mile run, two-mile run, or the two-mile relay, are Dwight Bohne,

Bob Fisher, Ray Matkovic, Norman Krause, Kevin Bayer, Jukka Kallio, Frank Hruban, Kerm Towler, Mike Schacte, Mario Guerrero, Ron Lewis, and Pius Periaswamy. The high jumpers this year are Marty O'Brien, George Arvanitis, and Tim Harris.

The indoor track team's record was only good enough to put them in first place in their conference. The Warriors hope to improve on this finish during the outdoor track season.
