Frosh Spotted |
||||||||||
| BY LIBBY CLAUS When school starts so do some new people. I'm not talking about foreign exchange students or new teachers I'm talking about those people that we all love to pick on. That's right those little bitty freshmen. We can pick on them on various cases. For example, we can dump their books and telling them the wrong place to go. You can always spot a freshmen too. They always bring all their books on the first day of school, sharpened pencils, and huge supplies of paper and pens. Physically the freshman girls wear makeup and at least try to look older or half way decent. Sometimes they wear tight jeans or dress up too much. Their shoes are high so they look taller. |
Mentally they have a habit of saying, "I'm going to join this club and this club." They're always having trouble getting out of a cut. Sometimes they are so bratty and wind up serving two or they cry, which doesn't help at all. They give their counselors a hard time about their lunches. "I don't have any friends in that lunch, and I'll just die." They always go to the pep rallies, and some of them can be found working in the L.R.C., deans', and nurses' office. But, just remember even though it's hard to believe, you, too, were freshmen. I also happen to know that all freshmen aren't all that bad. If they were, I wouldn't be having such a good time with my best friend who happens to be a freshman. |
